Terms of service

1. The service
Riverstack lets you generate images, video and audio with third-party models from one account and one balance. You need an account to generate. You are responsible for what you ask the models to make and for how you use the results.
2. Credits
A credit is a unit of Riverstack balance. It is not money, not a currency and not redeemable for cash. Credits are bought in one-time packs at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase; there is no subscription and credits do not expire.
The price of a generation, in credits, is shown before you run it and is the price charged. Credits are held while a model runs and released back to your balance if the run delivers nothing: a timeout, a provider error or a policy block alike. Credits spent on a delivered generation are not refunded.
3. Payment
Pack purchases are processed by Whop, which handles your payment details under its own terms. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. A receipt is issued for every purchase. If a purchase did not credit your balance, contact us with the receipt and we will correct it.
4. Your content
You keep the rights you have in what you upload. You grant Riverstack the permission needed to process your prompts and references, send them to the model provider you chose, and store the result for you.
The outputs are yours to use, including commercially, to the extent the law and the model provider’s terms allow. Models are made by third parties; their usage terms apply to what they produce, and the law on AI-generated works varies by country.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Riverstack to make content that is illegal, that infringes someone else’s rights, that sexualises minors, that impersonates a real person in a deceptive way, or that is intended to harass or defraud. Model providers run their own filters; a run they block is not charged. Accounts that abuse the service may be closed, with any unspent paid balance refunded.
6. Availability
Models come from third-party providers and may be unavailable, changed or retired at any time. A model that cannot run is marked and cannot be started. We do not promise that any model, or the service itself, is available without interruption, and we are not liable for what a model produces or fails to produce beyond refunding the credits of a failed run.
7. Changes
We may change these terms and the prices of packs. Changes to prices apply to purchases made after the change; credits already on your balance keep their value in credits. The current version of these terms is always at this address.
